Hi….
My name is Sasha and I’ve been baking professionally for 15 years. Take the Cake came about in 2022 and started as a way to work from home and spend as much time with my children as possible. We don’t want to be huge, I just want to create beautiful things that are made with Aroha and bring joy and happiness to you all.
I am passionate about combining my love for the outdoors and artistic flare to create cakes that are beautiful to look at but are equally delicious. For this reason I do not use fondant icing, apart from the occasional small detail and much prefer to use Swiss meringue buttercream icing.
